Pretty useless as a volume rocker if you are using other audio devices/perifs. The volume Scroll wheel is the one thing I wish Logi let you customize in their software but doesn't. I'm just a big baby and don't have the pictures to remember what they are. The Macro keys with the 3 profiles are pretty comparable to the MX F Keys being able to change but are obviously way more customizable. While the white backlight kinda blows, every other color on here seems to hit if you're into RGB. The G915, has a lot going on for it though too. They just don't quite satisfy like the 915 though. The Keys are really good on the MX but the smaller layout often left me making far more mistakes. What I'm not a fan of is the backlight disappearing so quickly on the MX and as of now, I haven't found a way to just keep it on. I'd be lying if I said it works 100% of the time but, it works well enough and its very very helpful with laptops and tablets. Also If you've never used "FLOW" before and you have the MX stuff it can be a true time saver when moving from device to device. For the MX, I love some of these template keys that are changeable on the F keys. I don't feel like the Ghub Software is all that stable. Will say though, that The newer Logi Options software seems like it has come a long way. It's a hard pick and I have yet to choose. VS, the feel of typing on the Keys of the G915 seems to be so unrivaled for me. The battle I keep coming back to is between the MX having up to 3 BT Devices with Logitech Flow, which is a damn game changer for me with so many devices. But I figure since the MX Mech is still pretty new I'd put down some thoughts.īeen going through the same issue as which one to keep because while I don't mind spending some dough on a keyboard, I can't justify keeping both. SOOO, I have them both in front of me today. Interested in hearing your feedback (if you end up getting MX Mech). I prefer tactile + quiet switch (Cherry MX Brown equivalent).
